About Us

Corey Lake is the Co-Owner, Founder, and Director of Maintenance at Lake’s Outdoor Services. Raised in Flushing Township, Michigan, and a graduate of Montrose High School, Corey began his journey in the landscape industry with a strong work ethic and a vision for excellence. He founded Lake’s Lawn care in 2001, which evolved into Lake’s Lawn and Landscape as the companies services expanded and grew. Lake’s became one of Oakland County’s premier landscape companies, earning a reputation for quality, reliability, and innovation.

After selling the company in December 2021, Corey remained on board as Lead Estimator and Consultant through July 2023, continuing to shape its operations and growth. In March 2025, Corey repurchased the company, forming a dynamic leadership team alongside partners Shannon Ridley and Jason Tietz.Together, they became Lakes Outdoor Services.

Today, Corey oversees the Lawn Maintenance Division and directs all maintenance service offerings, bringing decades of hands-on experience and strategic insight to the company’s continued success.

He lives in Rochester Hills, Michigan, with his wife Melinda and their daughters Morgan, Aliyah, and Adriana. Outside of work, Corey enjoys studying the Bible, reading, researching, hunting, fitness and wellness, gardening, traveling, and watching football.

Shannon Ridley is proud to be a Co-Owner of Lake’s Outdoor Services and leads the company’s sales efforts as Director of Sales.

With more than 30 years of experience in landscape installation, design, and estimating, Shannon brings both depth and perspective to every project. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Horticulture from Michigan State University with a focus on landscape design and has a real passion for creating outdoor spaces that are as functional as they are beautiful. His blend of creativity and hands-on experience shines through in the lasting landscapes he helps bring to life.

Known for his creative eye and practical approach, Shannon plays a key role in shaping the company’s direction and building lasting relationships with clients. When he’s not at work, you’ll likely find him golfing with his wife, Chris, or spending quality time with their two kids, Asher and Graceyn.

Jason Tietz is a Co-Owner of Lake’s Outdoor Services and serves as the company’s Director of Construction. With over 25 years of hands-on experience in the landscape industry, Jason specializes in high-end landscape construction, including brick paver patios, retaining walls, outdoor kitchens, lighting, and plant installations. His deep industry knowledge and commitment to craftsmanship make him a trusted leader in the field.

Jason is passionate about mentoring the next generation of landscape professionals, sharing his expertise to ensure the trade continues to thrive for years to come. 

Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Sandy, whether they’re out golfing, exploring on the side-by-side and traveling. Jason also enjoys hunting.

Clay Inman brings over 20 years of experience in the landscaping industry, with the past 12 years dedicated to Lake’s Outdoor Services. Specializing in landscape maintenance, he is known for his strong attention to detail, consistent work ethic, and genuine pride in his craft.

Outside of work, he is a devoted husband and proud father of two active teenage children. He and his wife share a love for the outdoors, especially kayaking together, and much of their time is spent supporting their children’s busy schedules filled with sports and activities.

Kristina Stafford brings a strong background in organization and operational support to the team, with over 15 years of experience in administrative management and 7 years in the green industry. She thrives in the fast-paced environment of the business and is passionate about making a meaningful difference behind the scenes.

Outside of work, Kristina enjoys spending time with her husband, Mike, and their family, as well as exploring new technology and reading.
